I’m Zack Grimes, a Chartered Marketer with deep expertise in marketing and communications across a range of sectors, most notably within the public sector.

For me, communications isn’t just about sending messages. it’s about shaping understanding, building trust, and creating meaningful impact that drives outcomes for people and communities.

Along my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working under high-performing leaders from PwC, John Lewis & Partners, entrepreneurs, politicians, and senior government officials. They all share one powerful belief: communication is not a function on the sidelines, it’s at the heart of progress. Their influence has sharpened my perspective and given me experiences I carry forward: the ability to turn insight into clarity, and clarity into action.

I’m also the co-founder of MarCommEd, a network created for education marketing and communications professionals. Our mission is simple yet bold: to raise the standard of practice across the sector so that better communications lead to better education outcomes. It’s a community where we share, learn, and push each other to elevate what’s possible.
